John, against my common sense, here's a nitpicking asshole of a comment:

The skull man, the "don't wait" and "too late" lines in the dialogue... you perfectly set up a point about *time*. I would've felt all accomplished and delighted had I correctly guessed that your premise was about "how time kills more dreams than failure," or something along those lines.

Of course, your premise about fear makes perfect sense, your illustration makes perfect sense—every element on their own is perfect, it's just that the premise was not suggested in the illustration, so here I am, pointing out (as humbly as one can critique an otherwise perfect piece) that you missed an opportunity to harvest that juicy, alluring anticipation (you nailed it in the headline after all).
