I remember Jimmy Carr saying something like "The ha-ha of a joke is like the ah-ha! moment of a discovery."

Comedy is as much about laughing as it is about thinking and understanding. People who hate comedy literally hate thinking for themselves.

On a side note, I don't buy that white guilt bullshit. I think the "after all the shit we did" rhetoric is too culturally ingrained in the US, but I never had slaves did I.

And still, every time Dave trash talks white people I crack up. Not because "he deserves to joke about us," but because it's hilarious.
