Gotta disagree with you here, mate. It certainly seems like you instantly jump to the top five percent just by giving self-improvement some thought.
But in the same way that staring to play the piano won't make you jump to the best five percent of pianists, self-improvement seems a "cheat" until you start and realize it's actually the hard mode.
Because it's easier to sit there and be consumed by blindspots and excuses. But hey—that also makes self-improvement the path worth taking.
