Funny how the "karma" thing was diluted with time. In reality, kamma just meant "cause and effect," as in, you won't get an apple tree from a neem seed, no matter how neem seeds you plant.

I think it comes from Buddhism, but could be older. This concept of kamma applies to the mind—bad thoughts (or what are usually called unwise thoughts) generate unwise reactions. Cause and effect.

For the look of it, you're on the wise path mate. Cheers!
