Fuck yes John. You made a proper point. I see it as a difference between "knowledge" and "skill":
Knowledge is our theoretical understanding of a subject.
Skill is knowledge we can use.
So if you ever listen to a baby trying to impress at a dinner party by talking about all the muscles humans use to walk, but never see him get up from the crawl, you know he doesn't have the "skill."
And also, you'll know it's in your imagination. Cause babies that don't walk are probably not good a small talk either.
